Dancing Mothers was released on March 1, 1926 and starred Alice Joyce and Clara Bow. This was Leila's second film, her first being 1924's Sandra. Many bios mention Leila's first film credits as 1926, most likely due to the three films she made that year. In addition to Dancing Mothers, she starred in The Kick-Off and Summer Batchelors, the latter of which is looked upon as her most successful. She would make a total of 12 more silent films before her first partial talkie in 1928. Leila has a very small supporting role here as Birdie Courtney. If you miss her, scroll to 8:19, she's the only girl sitting at the table, with dark hair. * We will feature different films of Leila's on this page that visitors can enjoy.
